Program Description

The goal of this activity is to provide a comprehensive course which reviews the essential concepts in the care of patients with compromised wound healing. The educational experience is designed to be clinically relevant to daily wound care treatment and to provide instruction in management protocols and algorithms which include the diagnosis and treatment of non-healing wounds. A primary goal is to educate all providers regarding best practice standards of care and to increase optimal patient outcomes by maximizing wound healing, improving limb salvage rates and decreasing patient morbidity. The content of this course is clinically concentrated but also includes valuable practice tests and test-taking strategies. While focused on ensuring your success in passing any of the currently offered certification exams, The Wound Care Review Course is also an excellent educational opportunity for all wound care professionals who want to expand their knowledge and excel clinically.
