Cardiac imaging options continue to expand, providing information on cardiac structure and function that drives accurate patient assessment and informs treatment decisions. As modalities such as speckle tracking analysis are added to routine echocardiography, cardiologists must be familiar with the full range of cardiac imaging studies, their interpretation, and the clinical implications of the findings. This activity reviews imaging in an assortment of patient presentations.
This activity is intended for cardiologists, internists, primary care physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), and other clinicians who manage patients with chronic heart failure
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
Accurately interpret cardiac imaging findings in a variety of heart failure patients
