HealthHIV’s sought after certificate training program is now available in the myCME Marketplace.
Develop new skills and professional competencies to elevate the quality of care provided to patients with HIV disease. Participants completing this newly added CME curriculum, composed of five courses grounded in a proven model of HIV primary care, earn a certificate of proficiency in HIV Primary Care.
The recommendation for universal screening of adolescents and adults aged 15 to 65 years for HIV disease highlights the growing role of primary care providers (Medical Doctors, or Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants and other healthcare professionals who are responsible for caring for patients at-risk for or with HIV disease) in HIV care.
By participating in this web-based certificate program, you will be able to immediately apply lessons learned to your practice. Topics include HIV management, core skills, considerations for management in older adults, improving communication, and treatment decisions in HIV/HCV coinfection.
