Program Description

Authoritative radiologists from UCSF deliver this CME program, divided into two main topical areas: Gastrointestinal and Gynecologic Imaging, and Tips and Tricks in Abdominal Imaging. Together, the topics covered by the faculty within these categories will prepare you to successfully:

  • Implement technical procedures for optimal image quality
  • Decrease imaging time, minimizing radiation exposure for pediatric patients
  • Differentiate between benign and malignant findings in both common and uncommon disorders
  • Understand which imaging modality (CT/MR/US) to use for various abdominal and pelvic organs and conditions
  • Apply recommended approaches for managing incidental findings on CT scans of the kidney, liver, adrenal glands, and pancreas
