Program Description

This webcast is intended to improve care of patients with breast cancer by accelerating adoption of new guidelines and evidence-based practice change. In-depth discussion of novel agents at various stages of clinical development will be given significant focus. This Internet CME activity is designed to provide clinical decision-making strategies for integration of novel therapeutic options.

Intended Audience

This webcast is designed to meet the educational needs of hematologists/oncologists and other healthcare professionals who diagnose, treat, and manage patients with breast cancer.

Educational Objectives

As a result of participating in the activity, learners should be better able to:

  • Cite the hormonal therapy options for early and advanced stage patients with breast cancer
  • Identify and select combination therapy with CDK 4/6 inhibitors (palbociclib, abemaciclib and ribociclib) and endocrine therapy agents in patients with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer
