FDA Warns of Skin Reactions to Antipsychotic
-- The antipsychotic drug ziprasidone, sold as Geodon and as a generic, can cause a serious and life-threatening skin condition, the FDA said. A new label warning will advise physicians and patients that six cases of "drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms," or DRESS, have been seen worldwide with ziprasidone.
