Program Description:

From Dermatology Clinic in the August 2011 issue of The Clinical Advisor:

Case 1: A disoriented man aged 82 years was brought in by his wife after she noticed several nickel-sized blisters on his abdomen and smaller blisters on his hands. She reported that the blisters appeared suddenly one week earlier. Some had since ruptured and become itchy.

Case 2: A man aged 70 years presented with a slightly tender neck mass that had developed in the same location as a pea-sized nodule. The nodule had been present for at least 20 years and caused no problems until the patient tried to squeeze out the contents at home.

Activity Objectives:

To increase awareness of dermatologic conditions, their diagnosis, and up-to-date treatment.
